• Spinal adjustments. Dr. Stewart will locate misalignments in the spine and various other regions of the body and apply a small force to the joint for proper realignment. This also increases range of motion within the joint which is often restricted due to arthritis.
  • Ultrasound therapy. Ultrasound can be used as more than just an imaging modality. Ultrasound can provide a massaging effect when applied to soft tissues and joints, which can decrease inflammation, stiffness, and relieve pain.
  • Therapeutic exercises and stretches. Dr. Stewart will instruct you on certain exercises and stretches to perform in and out of the office. The purpose of the exercises and stretches is to help build strength and improve range of motion within the joints.
